[verb]'s symposium:

 

'to live' - exploring art in relation to living

 

 

We would like to invite you to join us to engage in conversation around this topic as we explore the verb 'to live' in relation to arts practice. 

We question the relationship that living and creating art share, and the ways in which the form of creation and the form of living interfere with one another.

'Living' is a process as individual as ones arts practice, where art could be considered as an act of living. What would the material of living be? Where does art end and our lives begin?

 

We would like to invite you to join us to engage in conversation around this topic as we explore the verb 'to live' in relation to arts practice. 

 

The symposium will take place in March 2015 and we are currently seeking propsals from artists who perform, create or write specifically in relation to living to add their own materials to our discussion.
