[about] Amy Norris

 

 

My background is in performing and directing for the stage. I co-founded a stage school when I was 18 and was able to gain valuable knowledge and respect for the arts industry. I worked as a project co-ordinator, communications manager and musical director for the company and was thoroughly inspired to embark upon my theatre degree program. Through this program I was able to define my love for the arts into performing (autobiographical work) and producing. I thrive from the organisational side of the arts and what it takes to make a project, like this one, develop and become something. I currently produce for both JIMJAMS Theatre company and at least for now theatre, both of which I thoroughly enjoy working with and helping to get their work out into the public sphere. I also have a passion for photography and am experienced in taking photos for performance work.
